The prize for the most tendentious defense of Obama's racism charge goes to Joan Walsh of Salon.com. Sure Obama was bringing in race, but in a light-hearted, fun-loving way, and besides, after their "scuzzy" attacks on the anointed one for being a light weight what right have they to complain anyway?
